Goals from Josh Rennie, Ian Miller & Richard Jones were enough to give the home side all 3 points at Castle Cary.
Rennie also has an early 1st half penalty saved before a fine header to open the scoring. Miller then made it 2 early in the 2nd half with another brilliant goal. Creetown were reduced to 9 men after a couple of crazy refereeing decisions. Newton pulled one back before Richard Jones unleashed an unstoppable right foot strike to seal a deserved win for the home side

New head coach Lee Bass takes his young Creetown side to Galabank Stadium tomorrow evening to face Annan Athletic Reserves in our opening SOS League match of the Season.
Despite only a couple of friendly games the gaffer has been happy with the commitment from the players in pre season sessions. The squad currently stand at 24 with a number of younger players plus a few more experienced ones joining.
Club Chairman Eric Houston has also been happy with the way the new head coach and his team have fitted in at the club. Eric told creetownfc.co.uk today
