A good point away from home against an experienced St Cuthbert Wanderers side at St Mary’s park yesterday in the he South of Scotland League.

It was the hosts that went 1-0 up after a fantastic Robbie Thompson strike mid way through the first half. Both sides had a few chances in a close game but the home side went in at the break 1-0 up.

The lads started the second half on the front foot and within minutes of the kick off captain David Hughes had is side on level terms with a well worked goal. The goal gave his side a huge lift and the lads put in a superb 2nd half performance & could on another day came away with all 3 points.

All the best to Saints for the rest of the season
