Yesterday home match v Mid Annandale F.C. ended in a heavy 8 0 defeat at Castle Cary Park. The lads always knew this would be a tough game especially missing so many experienced players.
The home side went in at the break 3 0 down, however started the 2nd half far better & had a few chances to grab a goal back. Unfortunately after 20 mins of the 2nd half, Mids again punished our young defence & goalkeeper by scoring a further 5 goals as the lads heads went down. Closest the home side came to scoring was when a good move ended when striker Dale Mccucheon’s strike hit the post.
The lads now move on to next week and another tough game at home to Heston Rovers.
