New Head Coach Appointed

Today the club are delighted to announce Lee Bass as our new Head Coach. Lee is fully qualified & is currently working towards his C - Licence with the SFA. Our new head coach has many years experience working with teams in the British army & more recently involved in the youth set up in & around the Dumfries area. Lee also has a BSC Sports Development Degree. Club Chairman Eric Houston is delighted at the appointment and told us " We are over the moon to have Lee involved in the club. We have a history here at CFC of giving new managers & players the chance to show what they can do at this level. Lee is extremely keen to get started & the club beleve with his past experiences this is the best appointment for us moving forward. The Ben Herries Challenge 2018

This years Ben Herries Challenge will take place on Saturday 30th June 2018 at Castle Cary Park. All the usual entertainment for the kids including Free Face Painting & Bouncy Castle from 12 noon. Hot & cold snacks are available from the refreshments kitchen. A feast of Football & Fun for all ages. Fidler Stands Down as Manager

The club are sad to announce that player / manager Harry Fidler has stood down as manager of the club. Harry took the job shortly after Keith Knox resigned early in the season. Harry agreed to help the club out as manager till at least the end of this season. The committee had hoped that Harry would remain as manager but unfortunately that is not the case. The club would like to thank Harry for his hard work since Keith resigned. The process of finding Harry's replacement begins & further information will be available later this evening. Harry leaves a good squad for the incoming manager with most signed up for next season already....
