Lee Bass Creetown side traveled to Dumfries yesterday to face a Lochar Thistle in the South of Scotland League.

In a bad first half for the visitors, Thistle went in 2 0 up at the break. The home side started the 2nd half brightly but found Creetown now up for a game. Sub Shaun Milligan was causing problems for the Lochar defence down the left wing & Joe McMillan was starting to see more of the ball & also causing the experienced home side problems.

It was youngster McMillan that gave his side hope when he rounded the keeper after some great play to make it 2 1. With time running out Both sides had chances but the game ended 2 1 to the home side. Huge credit to the lads for the 2nd half performance.

A special mention for the young Callum MacDonald who at 16 years old had a terrific 2nd half & along with Milligan caused Thistle problems down the left side.
