Scorers. Mitchell, Taylor & Hughes

Yesterday welcomed current South Champions to Castle Cary park in the SOS League. The home side started brightly taking the game to Threave early on.

Soon the home side found themselves 1 0 up through a fine Glen Mitchell header. Soon after it was another New Luce man Stewart Taylor that made it 2 0 to the home side to take is in at the break with a healthy deserved 2 0 lead.

Rovers came out as expected in the 2nd half to take the game to the home side but found Creetown keeper Laurie Johnsone & his defence of Mitchell, Landers & Wilson in no mood to be loosing their 2 goal lead

As the home side found our way in the 2nd half, Skipper David Hughes came close with a long range shot. The skipper wasn’t to be denied and soon made it 3 0 for his side with a fine header to give the Threave keeper no chance.

Full time 3 0 and a fabulous performance from the lads. Ext week e face another tough battle as we travel to Kilmarnock to face Bonnyton Thistle.
