Yesterday game at home to Upper Annandale F.C. ended in a 2 – 2 draw. The home side went a goal up mid way through the first half when a good passage of play sent 16 year old Callum MacDonald through 1 on 1 with the Uppers keeper and the youngster made mistake with the finish to put his side 1-0 up.
A few chances from both teams before half time but it was Creetown that went in at the break in the lead.
With the visitors sitting a healthy 3rd in the league, the home side knew they would need more of the same in the second half against an experienced miss side. Creetown started the second half brightly & soon were 2 – 0 up when new signing Rab Joe Paisley scored his first for his new club making no mistake with a fine finish past the Uppers Keeper.
As expected the away side then through everything at the home side and soon grabbed a goal back after a scramble in the box was turned in to make it 2-1. The away side were then awarded a penalty after keeper Laurie Johnstone pulled the Uppers striker down in the box & Uppers converted the pen to make the score 2-2.
This made it an existing finish with both teams having chances late on to win the game however the game finished 2-2.
Good luck to Uppers for the remainder of the season.
