The club are sad to confirm that co manager Neil Erskine will leave the club & the area for a new job down south. Portpatrick man Neil has secured himself a dream job in London. We are extremely happy for Neil & the club would like to go on record to thank Neil for all his hard work in his short time at the club. The gaffer will leave the club at the end of February.
Neil told Creetownfc.co.uk ” I’ve really enjoyed my time down here. We have had some good results in a short space of time & the lads have been brilliant from my first day. There has been a lot of work going on at Castle Cary recently with the fence & shelter for supporters. The guys are working hard to improve the club off the park & I hope we will continue to improve on it as well. We have a great bunch here and I would like to thank everyone at the club. I have five tough games left & I will be treating everyone like a cup final. I will be checking up on results every week & wish the club every success for the future.

Chairman Eric Houston was full of praise for Neil he said ” We are extremely happy that all Neil’s hard work has been rewarded with a cracking new job in England. Obviously from the club’s point we are gutted to be losing Neil but the opportunity was just to good for him to turn down. Neil has done brilliant for us over the last few months & I know he will be a huge success down there.
Current co Manager Colin ‘Waggs’ Wilson & coach Ben Herries will continue the take the team while we look to add to the staff to fill the gap that Neil will leave.
Good luck in your new Job gaffer & thanks for your hard work.
