The club have been made aware a number of complaints & posts made on football forum’s & Social media after Saturday’s win at home to Threave Rovers with regards to playing an ineligible player in the game.
As a Quality Mark club, Creetown F.C. will always try to the best of our knowledge to follow standards & rules set by the SOSFA & SFA. In this particular case the club contacted the relevant people long before Saturday’s game as the player in question also made an appearance in the previous week’s game against Dumfries YMCA.
As we strive to improve our small club on & off the park I can assure everyone that as club with committee members with many years experience dealing with registrations ect that we will always try to do things by the book to the best of our knowledge.
After discussions with Newton Stewart FC officials, The club are happy to accept that any of their club members weren’t involved.
We hope this will now close the matter
